Quilting exhibition

What a wonderful day was had at the Country Yard Quilting Exhibition. There was some beautiful work on display - some very talented ladies out there - the mini quilt challenge saw entries come from everywhere great to see such enthusiasm. Jacki's Kiwiana quilt is just gorgeous great use of these fabrics.

Stitchery

I have finished my stitchery - will be giving it to Raewyn tonight, I sort of did my own thing a bit with butterfly just had fun.

New Quilt

Hi again, well at long last I have taken some photos of my quilt. Very pleased with the finished quilt. I learnt a lot from this class at The Country Yard and taken by Ans. Thanks Ans. Thanks also to Leeanne for suggesting to shadow around the flowers.

More camelias

Just couldn't resist these camelias - unbelievable that they come off the same tree. Something you probably didn't know about me - I used to collect porcelain shoes, these ones came from Italy.

Beginners Quilt

I have finished the beginners quilt, it is on the machine at the quilting stage, so pleased to have finished it. The classes were very informative and I have learnt a lot of new techniques - thanks to Ans. Will put it on here when finished.

Wall Hanging For Nina (India)

Nina went to India and loved it, she saw my wallhanging of Africa hanging up at the beach and asked if I would make her one depicting India, well what a challenge. Here is the finished quilt.

Mums Quilt

Mum has now got her new quilt, she loves it, I dropped off a pillowslip I made for her this week so all looks good.
