Baby Girls Quilt

I am making this quilt for a lady that knows that she is having a great grand-daughter.  So lovely to be making a girls quilt.  This is a panel I have had for some time, I am enjoying quilting this.  But as usual I am getting carried away, I was going to do a simple stipple all over, but no, so.... Watch this space for the finished product.....

This is a quilt made from a kit from the The Country Yard, it fits my king size bed, lovely and warm these cold nights.  I got a lady from Pipiwai to quilt it on a quilting machine with an overall pattern with variegated thread.  There is a lot of piecing in this pattern but the colours are gorgeous.

I finished this table centre which looks lovely it was made from a layer cake, the colours all look great together.
Trying to post this from my iPad what a shambles, but the photo is the backpack I have finished.  I am now going to make another one......so watch this space ....

Well well what else can I find:

Oh yes shortly there will be a post on here.  My friend Jan gave me a present for my birthday from the " The Country Yard" and I have nearly finished it.

Just been for a walk to the Whangarei Falls and this is how they look after all the rain.

Wall Hanging:

My friend Jacki gave me this kit she bought in Australia a while ago, she said when she read it thought of me??!!  So it now hangs in my kitchen, I purchased the butterfly hanging years ago and finally found a use for it, as you do.  This hanging gets a lot of comments, but is so true ??

I think I got carried away with the embroidery, seems to be a
lot more than the pattern.

Really will have to use my camera.
Mt. Mania

This was finished in a round robin for a friend of mine and finally got it back from Mary to take a photo.  I really enjoyed doing this, just loved putting all the kiwis and wood pidgeons in hiding amongst the trees.

This was taken on my phone so not come out so well, will have to use my camera in future.

Orange Beauty

This is the wallhanging I have been playing with very hard to make a yo yo with hessian and I used a very odd way to take the dye out of the fabric, nothing much traditional about this, but I like it very bright and vibrant.  So on to the next project...............................................................................................................................................

Orange Beauty

This is a piece of fabric art I have done, I was very pleased with how it turned out, so it is now hanging on my wall.  I should be finishing all my UFO'S I have plenty of them !!!!!!!
Can't believe how time flys, I have been sewing, but not enough hours in the day.   For some reason not able to load my photos but will try again.

Well what a productive weekend nearly finished a quilt for a baby that is due today so that is a great effort for me usually the child is nearly ready for school. Also decided I had to have another BAG believe it or not - haven't got the handles on yet, still debating what type I will put on.
